About the Assignment
Observation Registered Nurses are responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients who are being observed for a variety of reasons, such as to assess their condition, to rule out a diagnosis, or to wait for the results of tests and procedures. Observation Registered Nurses work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and must be able to quickly assess and prioritize patient needs, make sound clinical judgments, and perform a variety of medical procedures. Observation Registered Nurses must also be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
Experience working in an observation unit setting preferred
Must be willing to float
ACLS and BLS certification required
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
